Toronto Design Exchange

I was beyond excited to see the Paper Crane Tutu as well as the rest of the tutus from the National Ballet of Canada’s Tutu Project on display at the Toronto Design Exchange.

Prior to this visit, the last time I had been to the Design Exchange was about a year ago when I was invited to a Pecha Kucha event which had a specific focus of promoting disaster relief in Japan.  This was shortly after I had created two art pieces inspired by a desire to give back to the country that gave the world origami.

What an honour for our work to be displyed at such an esteemed establishment of design, I am ever so grateful for the opportunity.
